Visors with photochromic tinting function from TRANSITIONS® Adaptive Technology react dynamically to changing light conditions, making them true all-round visors. The degree of tinting and the speed of darkening and brightening depend on the strength of the UV radiation, the angle of light incidence and the ambient temperature. The tint spectrum ranges from clear in darkness, to medium tint in overcast or low light conditions, to heavy tint in bright sunlight, comparable to our heavy tinted visors. Darkening and lightening occurs slowly and is easy on the eyes, but may require the visor to be opened during abrupt light changes such as tunnel passages.Like all SHOEI visors (except CJ-3 for J-O and EX-Zero models), it is equipped with mounting pins for an anti-fog PINLOCK® lens.
