How to make the lightest and strongest wheel on the world? That?s the question motorcycling racer, research & development engineer and Rotobox CEO Gregor Bizjak asked himself more than a decade ago. The answer was a revolutionary 3 component-carbon-epoxy-steel-composite and a newly developed production procedure, which paved the way for a new generation of high performance motorcycle wheels by Rotobox. Since the very first day Rotobox strives to take the performance of carbon fiber wheels to a new level. By continuously pushing the boundaries of creative engineering our products set industry standards for lightness, stiffness, design and premium quality. Whether on the track or on the road ? the racing DNA of the Rotobox team is not only reflected in our wheels, but can be felt with every meter driven. The feedback of our great costumers confirms, that we are turning the wheel the right way.

Being ten years a rider in several racing classes, the company founder Gerhard Gilles realized that standard parts do not meet all expectations. He needed something better and that was the beginning: Gerhard Gilles made the first adjustable and lightweight rearsets by himself to use it on his track bike. The paddock became attentive very quickly and this was the next step of this successful history. More and more rearsets have been produced to help the other riders. So the direction was clear what to do after the racing career. In the year 2000 the company GILLES was founded to combine the passion for racing with technical knowledge and experience. This ended in the development and production of the first multivariable rearset, the AS31GT. At the same time this rearset kick-started a dynamic company which today sells its wide product range worldwide. Today GILLES is proud of being an original parts manufacturer for BMW Motorrad, Yamaha and Suzuki as well as having many more satisfied customers around the world.
